Valley View Village, a Cassia community, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our compassionate care team in Des Moines, IA. You’ll administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure quality outcomes in a nonprofit setting.

New grads welcome; bonus of $10,000 and flexible shifts (evening and night) are offered along with comprehensive benefits and PSLF eligibility in Iowa after qualifying payments.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold an active Iowa LPN license or compact-state licensure.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Stable work history and patient-centered mindset.

Aufgaben

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition and takes follow up action as necessary
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response
• Monitor residents and reports any change in their condition
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Monitor performance of CNA staff
• Use strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.
