Job summary

Arbors of Ohio is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to coordinate and provide nursing care for residents at Arbors at Fairlawn. The role includes supervising clinical staff, administering meds, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Shift: 6am – 6pm; experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of employment.
• CPR certification.
• One year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders promptly and accurately.
• Assigns nursing care to team members based on resident needs.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and treatments and documents compliance with regulations.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Ensures supplies are used economically; equipment is clean and safe.
• Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinates nursing care when residents receive therapy or procedures.
