Job summary

CommQuest Services in Massillon, Ohio is seeking full-time and part-time LPN staff nurses to join our 12-bed detox unit. You will assess clients, administer medications, and carry out treatment plans under the direction of our Medical Director to support withdrawal management.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and clear documentation in the EHR. Candidates should be licensed LPNs in Ohio, with a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree in nursing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Ohio with no current license restrictions.
• High school diploma or GED required. An associate's degree in nursing is a plus.
• Knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients on condition, medication, and treatment plan.
• Document nursing care via EHR under supervision of Director/Medical Doctor.
• Work and communicate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you'll do:

• Assess patient condition and implement treatment plans including assisting admission to detox unit
• Educate patients on condition, medication, and treatment plan
• Document nursing care via EHR. Implement nursing care under clinical supervision of the Director and Medical Doctor.
• Work and communicate effectively with Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Director, clinical staff, etc. to provide best client care.
• All other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Detox Services:

Nightshift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Must have availability to work weekends and holidays on a rotation basis.

PRN (on-call/as needed) also available!

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate's degree in Nursing is a plus!
• Minimum LPN currently licensed in the State of Ohio, with no current license restrictions
• Previous knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is highly desired
• Must be professional and team player working together for the benefit of our clients
