Job summary

CommQuest Services Inc. seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Ohio team serving Canton, Massillon and Alliance locations.

You will assess, treat and manage medications under medical supervision for clients with addiction and mental health conditions, including care for children and adolescents. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, prescribing medications, collaborating with counselors and physicians, and providing psychotherapy to individuals and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed APRN (CNP) through Ohio Board of Nursing with psychiatry certification.
• Valid DEA license with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in MAT/OBOT, psychiatric, or mental health settings.
• Knowledge of mental health and addictions is required.
• Professional, team-oriented approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive substance use and psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Treat and diagnose co-occurring mental health conditions and addictions.
• Prescribe and manage medications.
• Collaborate with counselors, peers, case managers and physicians.
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling to individuals and families.

CommQuest seeks full-time Nurse Practitioners for our locations in Canton, Massillon, & Alliance, Ohio. You will provide assessments, medications, and other medical treatment directed by your medical supervisor for clients suffering from addiction and mental health conditions. Must also be willing to see children and adolescents.

What you'll do:

Schedule:

Monday-Friday; Dayshift.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Licensed APRN(CNP) through Ohio Board of Nursing with psychiatry certification.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a MAT/OBOT setting, psychiatric, or mental health setting.
• Previous knowledge of mental health and/or addictions is required.
