Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Murfreesboro, TN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality nursing care to residents in an assisted living setting. The LPN coordinates physical, social, and emotional aspects of care under physician orders and resident choices, ensuring safety and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include medication management, resident assessments, care planning, team leadership of CNAs/RMAs, and participation in trainings and community activities.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice in the state where the community is located.
• Experience with the senior population in assisted living or LTC preferred.
• Team player with staff supervision experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently with good organization.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Execution of the medication management plan and documentation.
• Continuous assessment of resident needs with updates to appropriate individuals.
• Implement measures to ensure resident wellness and safety and documentation.
• Work in a team to meet resident needs.
• Respond to emergencies timely and calmly.
• Report incidents and changes in resident condition with documentation.
• Be active in activities and community events.
• Assist with meals in dining room and monitor diets.
• Maintain high standards for record keeping and documentation.
• Establish positive relationships with departments.
• Identify risk factors and initiate interventions with documentation.
• Provide thorough reports at shift changes and in the Daily Log.
• Motivate and direct CNAs/RMAs.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings; adhere to policies.
• Practice body mechanics and safe transferring techniques.
• Adhere to attendance policies and be prepared for duties.
• Complete all other assigned duties.
