Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as an LPN.
• CPR certification; additional nursing specialty certification desired.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and schedules.
• Document medications and nursing interventions accurately.
• Notify physician of status changes and implement new orders.
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, oxygen care, and related procedures.
• Ensure narcotics are accounted for and securely stored.
