Avera Oahe Manor in Gettysburg, SD is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Regular status with rotating shifts. Pay ranges from $27.00 to $38.75 per hour, with potential sign-on and relocation bonuses and 72 hours over two weeks on varied shifts.

As an LPN, you will perform licensed nursing functions, assess residents, administer medications, participate in care planning, document care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate resident care.

• The individual must be able to work the hours specified and perform each essential function satisfactorily.
• Active LPN license in the state of practice at time of hire.

• Performs licensed practical nursing functions and services as directed by the RN for all residents.
• Completes assessments, plans, implements, and evaluates resident care.
• Administers medications safely and accurately per physician orders and facility policy.
• Participates in care planning and ensures care is implemented appropriately for residents.
• Maintains professional documentation and communicates changes in resident condition to the physician.
• Guides staff in meeting residents' needs and participates in physician rounds and SBAR communications.
• Supports orientation of new staff and seeks educational opportunities.
