Job summary

AHL Healthcare Group in Andover, MN is urgently hiring an LPN. The role involves advocacy, support, education, and caregiving to individuals with disabilities, developing living skills and promoting independence.

Responsibilities include health maintenance, medication administration, and personal care under the RN supervisor, in a compassionate home-like setting. Compensation is competitive for the shift from 2pm to 10pm.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or CNA is required.
• Experience with high medical needs and personal care preferred.
• Group home setting experience is a plus.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must be 18+ years old with HS diploma or GED.
• Pass MN DHS Background Study.
• Available to work every other weekend.
• Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, support, educate and care for individuals with disabilities.
• Assist residents in developing basic living and social skills for independence.
• Provide health maintenance, medication administration, personal care and behavior support.
• Work under RN supervision alongside Nursing Assistants to deliver services.
• Aim to enrich residents’ lives and support happy, healthy, fulfilling living.
