Ahlhealthcaregroup in Andover, Minnesota is urgently hiring an LPN to support residents with disabilities. The role includes health maintenance, medication administration, personal care, and skill-building under an RN supervisor, in a supportive group home setting.

Minimum requirements include current LPN or CNA, HS diploma or GED, and availability every other weekend. Compensation is $24–$27 per hour for 2pm–10pm shifts, with benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.

Job description

The LPN functions as an advocate, supporter, educator and caregiver to individuals with disabilities. They assist individuals develop basic living and social skills to gain optimal independence and integration into the community. Depending on the individual, LPNs provide assistance with living skill development, health maintenance, medication administration, personal care and behavioral development/management. LPNs will work under the RN supervisor and alongside Nursing Assistants to provide services to our clients. Most importantly, the goal is to provide services to enrich the lives of our residents to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 hour depending on experience

Hours of Positions: 2pm - 10pm

Location: Andover, MN

Requirements:

• Current LPN or CNA
• Past experience with high medical needs and personal cares
• Prefer past experience in a group home setting
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 18 years or older, and have completed HS diploma or GED
• Pass a MN DHS Background Study
• Available to work every other weekend
• Current Driver's License, car insurance, and a clean record
