Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinical care to residents in the neighborhood, following nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living guidelines. Compensation is up to $40 per hour.

You will build relationships with residents and families, assess conditions, update care plans, supervise care staff, and administer medications with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Licensed by State as an LPN (LVN).
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year in assisted living, home health, or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, placing the resident first.
• Assess and document residents' clinical condition in the EMR and notify RN/provider as needed.
• Update care plans as resident needs change.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately per orders.
• Participate in resident-outcome meetings and care reviews.
• Respond to residents and families in a timely, professional manner.
• Review clinical indicators (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use).
• Perform other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing clinical care to residents in the neighborhood according to the nursing standards of practice, board of nursing, and Erickson Senior Living standards.Compensation: Up to $40 per hour

How you will make an impact

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates
• Administering medications timely, accurate, and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
• Participating in the review of clinical indicator reviews – falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader

What you will need

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
