Job summary

Maris Grove by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical care to residents in the neighborhood according to nursing standards and Erickson Senior Living policies. Newly increased wage scale and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

You will develop relationships with residents and families, assess clinical conditions, update care plans, supervise care teams, and administer medications in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families with a consistent caregiver approach.
• Assess, observe, and evaluate residents' clinical condition and document findings in the EMR.
• Update or modify care plans to reflect changes in care needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately per orders.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely, professional manner.
• Participate in review of clinical indicator reviews (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use).
• Other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN is responsible for providing clinical care to residents in the neighborhood according to the nursing standards of practice, board of nursing, and Erickson Senior Living standards.Newly increased wage scale below!

• Compensation: commensurate with experience $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
• Shift differentials: Evenings $3.00, Nights $5.00
• Sign on bonus: $3,000.00 full-time, $1,500.00 part-time.

How you will make an impact:

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates
• Administering medications timely, accurately, and according to orders.
• Participating in meetings related to resident outcomes and care
• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
• Participating in the review of clinical indicator reviews - falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.

What you will need:

• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
