Job summary

NYU Langone Hospitals in Brooklyn, NY, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our patient care team at Park Ridge Family Health Center. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1–2 years hospital-based nursing experience preferred.
• NYS LPN license required.
• Bilingual in languages based on site’s needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides health education based on patient needs and documents responses in the medical record.
• Administers medication therapy and vaccines as ordered by the provider.
• Observes and reports significant changes in patient condition to RN/PSC/Provider.
• Communicates patient care needs to ancillary staff and follows up accordingly.
• Performs nursing tasks within the scope of the LPN under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse.
