Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1-2 years of hospital-based nursing experience; ambulatory care preferred.
• NYS LPN License.
• BLS Certification required at time of hire and maintained.
• Willingness to devote time to completing tasks on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Implement care in a knowledgeable, consistent manner, considering the patient’s age and development.
• Demonstrate respect for coworkers/patients’ cultural backgrounds.
• Provide translation services as needed and assist with authorized duties.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered by the provider.
• Communicate patient care needs to the RN/PSC/Provider and follow up.
• Document significant changes in patient status and responses to treatment.
