NYU Langone Health seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Park Ridge Family Health Center. The LPN assists the Registered Nurse in implementing nursing care and supports education, counseling, and restorative services for assigned patients.

The role requires an NYS LPN license, 1–2 years of hospital-based nursing experience, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred depending on site needs. You will join a team committed to equitable, comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1–2 years of hospital-based nursing experience (Med/Surg, Pediatrics, OB/Gyn); ambulatory care preferred.
• NYS LPN license is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred depending on site needs.

Responsabilités

• Assists the RN in implementing the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Provides health education and documents patient responses in the medical record.
• Administers medications and vaccines as ordered by the provider.
• Provides translation services as needed.
• Maintains patient safety and communicates care needs to the team.
