Ferry County Memorial Hospital (dba Ferry County Health) seeks a qualified LPN/LVN to provide skilled nursing care on the patient care unit under RN supervision. You will plan and implement care, document thoroughly, and advocate for residents and families while ensuring safety and quality across shifts.

You will supervise NACs and support staff, participate in resident care conferences, and uphold the district’s mission of strong community health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current WA LPN/LVN license in good standing.
• AHA BLS certification is required; ACLS and PALS are expected.
• IV therapy certification or willingness to complete it within 6 months.
• Safety sensitive role subject to RCW regulations.

Responsabilités

• Assess extended care residents on admission and during changes in condition.
• Document assessments and care plans in the electronic health record.
• Administer medications and follow the rights of medications to reduce errors.
• Lead NACs and assistive staff to implement the care plan.
• Provide end-of-shift reports and ensure continuity of care across shifts.
• Educate residents and families on pain management and treatment plans.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition.
• Maintain professional conduct and uphold HIPAA and facility policies.
