Job summary

Ferry County Memorial Hospital (dba Ferry County Health) seeks an experienced Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing operations in the absence of unit managers. You will monitor patient care, staffing, and documentation while collaborating with staff, families, providers, and the administrator-on-call.

Requirements include a Washington RN license, BLS, ACLS/TNCC/PALS/NRP within 6 months, and at least 1 year of charge nurse or leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Assess patient care requirements on each unit, including ED rounds.
• Develop and implement staffing plan for shift based on acuity and census.
• Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems.
• Round on all inpatients each shift when possible to assess needs and gather feedback.
• Fills out shift report and completes chart audits to ensure timely documentation.
