Job summary

Ferry County Memorial Hospital seeks an LPN/LVN to assess, plan, and implement nursing care for residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role emphasizes continuity of care, direct patient care, and supervising NACs and support staff.

The position focuses on patient advocacy, teaching, and upholding the district's mission, with a commitment to safety and quality in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse license in Washington.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Active ACLS and PALS certification, or willing to take district classes within six months.
• Current IV therapy certification or willing to participate in district IV competency training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for extended care residents with RN supervision.
• Administer medications following rights and reduce errors.
• Document assessments, progress notes and care plans in EHR.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians and team.
• Lead NACs and supervise care to ensure safety and quality.
