Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Norfolk seeks a dedicated LPN/LVN to provide direct nursing care, manage medications and wound care, and ensure safety and comfort for residents. You will supervise nursing assistants during shifts and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of clinical nursing experience, with long-term care exposure preferred, and brings strong documentation skills and familiarity with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role, preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
