Job summary

Chesapeake Health & Rehabilitation Center in Chesapeake, VA is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to provide compassionate patient care in a 180-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.

We offer a retention bonus for full-time staff and every other weekend off. You will supervise CNAs and deliver care per MFA policies, while communicating patient status to the RN and contributing to care planning.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• One year of previous nursing experience preferred. New Grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• The LPN supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA guidelines.
• Writes weekly/monthly summaries of patients’ status, abilities and addresses problems identified in the patient care plan for RN review.
