Job summary

Montclair Care Center in New Jersey is seeking an LPN to work the 11 PM–7 AM shift. The role involves providing nursing care according to established standards and policies, with easy access to public transportation.

The nurse will supervise CNAs, admit/discharge residents, and ensure compliance with nursing service procedures. He/she will contribute to the facility's quality assurance program and coordinate care with families and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must possess active nursing license in New Jersey.
• Experience supervising CNAs is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs in the unit.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Provide discipline and evaluations of CNAs per facility rules.
