Qualifications
- Licensure as LPN/LVNs in the United States.
- Eligibility for appointment requires U.S. citizenship.
- Must meet Federal/VA qualification standards for nursing staff.
- Completion of required education and licensure as an LPN/LVN.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and perform nursing treatments.
- Assist with discharge planning and transfer of Veterans as needed.
- Promote patient participation in care plans and encourage self-care.
- Educate Veterans and families about care plans and treatments.
- Maintain documentation and ensure patient safety according to SOPs.
