Summary of Job Duties: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports the clinic team by delivering care within the scope of practice, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, working with patients, families, and providers to implement health plans.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED plus graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current and valid Arkansas Practical Nurse License
• One (1) year of LPN clinical experience

Responsibilities:

• Triage, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and patient education
• Deliver nursing care according to standards set by UAMS, ANA, AR State Board of Nursing, and nursing organizations
• Develop patient’s Plan of Care using assessment data
