Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience preferred in nursing, especially with elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Assess, communicate, and document resident status accurately.
• Observe and report significant health changes to the appropriate leaders per state regulations.
• Direct and supervise daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Balance service demands with resident independence.
• Recognize and report elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and use personal emergency response system appropriately.
