Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's South Nashville Comprehensive Treatment Center in Nashville, TN is hiring an LPN/LVN to dispense medications in an outpatient MAT program. You will assess patients, administer meds, monitor vital signs, and educate patients within a supportive team.

Early morning shifts up to 19 hours/week, with a focus on safe, compliant medication dispensing and accurate documentation in EMR systems. Join a recovery-focused environment with stable schedules and paid training.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program as LPN/LVN.
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health or outpatient treatment.
• Experience with MAT settings is a plus.
• Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in drawing blood and specimen collection.
• Proficient in EMR systems and clinical software.
• Competent in patient assessment and vital signs monitoring.
• Ability to administer medications per protocol.
• Ability to document patient responses accurately.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Maintain inventory and safekeeping of medications per regulatory requirements.
• Allocate ~90% of time to medication administration activities; other duties as needed.
• Conduct urine/blood samples, read results, complete intake assessments.
• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with clinic standards.
• May transport medications or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
