Job summary

Stellar Care Group seeks an LPN/RN-licensed nurse to provide general nursing care to residents in a facility setting. You will explain procedures to residents, administer medications, and assist physicians during treatments while keeping safety a priority.

The role requires strong organization and communication, with responsibilities including supervising STNAs and unlicensed caregivers, and documenting nursing histories and assessments using electronic records.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Ohio.
• Experience providing general nursing care in a facility.
• Ability to explain procedures and treatments to residents.
• Experience administering prescribed medications and treatments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to residents in a nursing facility.
• Explain procedures and treatments to residents to gain cooperation.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatment and examination.
• Monitor comfort and safety needs of residents.
• Supervise nursing practices directed toward maintaining resident function.
• Observe residents, document conditions, and notify physicians of changes.
• Document nursing history and assessments for assigned residents.
• Use Point, Click, Care for electronic documentation.
• Maintain high level of organization and clinical skills; supervise STNAs and unlicensed caregivers.
