Job summary

Fairfield Care Community seeks an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care in a long-term care setting under the supervision of an RN or physician. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and maintaining accurate nursing documentation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LPN or LVN program.
• Current and active LPN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of vital signs and care.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure resident safety.
• Advocate for residents and communicate with families as needed.
