Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The role supports diverse patient populations and follows established plans of care, with emphasis on documentation, patient education, and teamwork across care teams.

The ideal candidate holds State board Practical Nursing licensure for Alabama or multis-state licensure and BLS certification by orientation end date; experienced or new graduate

Qualifications

• Graduate of State board School of Practical Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Experience: Experienced/New Graduate.
• BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for diverse patient populations.
• Implement technical nursing procedures according to plan of care.
• Assist and reinforce routine patient education.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Communicate with team members to facilitate teamwork and delivery of quality care.
