Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to perform a broad range of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The LPN will provide direct patient care to diverse populations and will implement established procedures per plan of care while reinforcing routine patient education.

The role requires graduation from a State board School of Practical Nursing with current Alabama or multistate licensure.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of State board School of Practical Nursing with current Alabama or multi-state licensure.
• Experience: Experienced/New Graduate
• Additional Skills/Abilities: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider.
• Works with diverse patient populations across age and other demographics.
• Implements technical nursing procedures per policy and plan of care.
• Documents patient care accurately and communicates with the care team.
