Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care for assigned patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Qualifications

• Education and licensure requirements are met: high school graduation or equivalent and active LPN license in NC or a compact state.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong verbal and written communication in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Participates in assessment of patients and documents findings.
• Collaborates with nursing and other departments to develop the patient plan of care.
• Provides direct nursing care under RN supervision and follows the plan of care.
• Administers medications as ordered and maintains accurate patient records.
• Maintains a safe environment and responds to life-threatening situations promptly.
