Job summary

Southeast Missouri Residential Services, a State of Missouri facility in Sikeston, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-on-one care. You’ll join a team supporting consumers with developmental disabilities and physical/geriatric needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current Missouri LPN license.
• Knowledge of nursing theory and practical nursing techniques.
• Experience with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist with care plans, rehab, ambulation, and transfers.
• Supervise nursing assistants and coordinate with doctors and families.
• Document care in the EHR system and report deviations.
• Educate patients and direct support staff on care as needed.
