Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will prepare patients for visits, assist with exams, and help manage medications and test results.

This full-time day-shift role requires an accredited LPN program, active Michigan license, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of clinical experience. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.
• Valid, unrestricted LPN license in Michigan.
• Valid CPR certification.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience in a medical or physician office; previous nursing experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Determine and document the reason for the visit.
• Assess patient information for need of higher level follow up.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Perform general specimen collection duties.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
