Qualifications

• Current license to perform as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Connecticut required.
• High School Diploma Required - College Course Preferred.
• Two years as Licensed Practical Nurse in hospital or office setting required.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider by documenting chief complaint and essential data.
• Maintain an even distribution of patients for the assigned nurse.
• Assist patients to X-ray, lab or ED when needed.
• Set up Nebulizer treatments and monitor patient.
• Responsible for documentation in medical record.
• Reinforce education and health information with patient.
• Assist in emergency situations and prepare equipment.
• Responsible for immunization and document accordingly.
