This full-time day-shift position focuses on office nursing duties, medication management, patient setup, and coordinating with physicians to ensure efficient daily operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Connecticut LPN license, a high school diploma, and at least two years of LPN experience in hospital or clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse license is required.
• High School Diploma required; college coursework preferred.
• Two years of Licensed Practical Nurse experience in hospital or office setting required.

Responsibilities

• Document chief complaints and vital data (height, weight, blood pressure).
• Distribute patients evenly among nurses and keep rooms stocked with supplies and educational materials.
• Assist patients to X-ray, lab, or ED when needed; set up Nebulizer treatments and monitor patients.
• Document in medical records and complete school or camp forms; reinforce education with families after provider discussion.
• Answer medical questions or refer to the doctor or nurse practitioner when appropriate.
