Job summary

Avamere Court at Keizer in Keizer, OR is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide basic nursing care under RN supervision. Duties include vital signs, medication administration, wound care, hygiene and mobility support, and participation in resident assessments.

Must have a nursing degree from an accredited program, an active LPN license in Oregon, and CPR/BLS certification. Prior long-term care or geriatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold an active LPN license in Oregon.
• CPR/BLS certification required during employment.
• Prefer experience in long-term care or geriatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Vital signs measurement and documentation.
• Administer medications as prescribed under RN supervision.
• Wound care including dressing changes and monitoring for infection.
• Assist residents with daily activities, hygiene, and mobility.
• Support nutrition, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Document care provided and communicate with RN and residents' families.
