Responsibilities
- Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
- Assist health care providers with examinations, treatments, and routine procedures.
- Obtain patient health history, vital signs, and administers TB skin tests.
- Conduct lab tests and deliver results to the physician or RN.
- Ensure patient receives appropriate care for injuries or conditions.
- Review charts and report observed symptoms and changes.
- Coordinate patient transfers and document all contacts in POMR.
