Job summary

HAN Staff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Waupun, WI team. The role offers local pay of $44.26/hour and a travel package that includes lodging and stipends to support care delivery across facilities.

Shift options are 6:00–14:30 or 13:00–21:30 with weekend/holiday rotation. Responsibilities include patient assessment, emergency response, medication administration, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted WI LPN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an LPN.
• Degree from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Active BLS certification.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board if required.
• Copies of all current required certifications and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, recognize critical conditions, prioritize care, and take immediate action.
• Initiate emergency measures when the physician is unavailable.
• Operate and monitor emergency equipment, including infusion pumps and monitors.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapy, respirator therapy, and ventilation.
• Document patient status, nursing interventions, treatments, and interdisciplinary care.
• Assess patient care needs, assign duties based on staff skills, and coordinate care plans.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, unit cleanliness, and a safe environment.

Local Pay: $44.26/hour

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 40 hours): Hrly $18.01,Stipend (Lodging $742.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,218.00

Total Comp :$1,938.40

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, recognize critical conditions, prioritize care, and take immediate action.
• Initiate emergency measures when the physician is unavailable.
• Operate and monitor emergency equipment, including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
• Document patient status, nursing interventions, treatments, and interdisciplinary care.
• Assess patient care needs, assign duties based on staff skills, and coordinate care plans.
• Maintain adequate supplies, equipment, unit cleanliness, and a safe environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestricted WI license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of one (1) year/s of recent experience as an LPN
• A degree from an accredited school of Nursing
• Active BLS
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
