HAN Staff seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night shift in Haynesville, VA. Local pay is $36/hour with W2 employment. The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other procedures within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate EMR and ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies.

Shift Details:

• Night- 8.00pm - 8.30am

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted VA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents
