Job summary

PrimeCare Medical Inc. is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join the Carroll County Department of Corrections in Ossipee, NH. Nurses will provide comprehensive care under an RN and maintain accurate documentation and patient flow.

Available shift: PT Night (12:00 PM–10:00 PM, two nights weekly). Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, Life Insurance, Disability options, generous PTO, 401k with match, tuition reimbursement, overtime and shift bonuses, plus sign-on and referral

Qualifications

Effective communication with patients and staff.
Demonstrate clinical competency in nursing duties.
Ability to function under supervision of RN and physicians.

Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate records of all controlled substances, narcotics and sharps in accordance with applicable state and federal laws
Conducting sick calls for inmates/patients and providing treatment for illnesses and injuries, defined by written protocol and approved by PCM Medical Director
Observing, reporting, and documenting symptoms, reactions and progress of inmates/patients; participating in the plan of care
Record, retrieve and file medical information in the inmate/patient medical record
