Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Ohio is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care on assignment, following prescribed orders and the nursing process.

On each assignment you will assess patient needs, document data, and collaborate with health care teams, with competitive hourly pay and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Ohio.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current Hands-On BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Education

LPN License (Ohio)

TB test or Chest X-Ray

Hands-On BLS

One year nursing experience preferred
