Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Florissant, MO is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated care team. You will provide basic medical attention, monitor residents, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians to support seniors’ wellbeing with compassion.

The role emphasizes gerontological nursing, accurate documentation, and safe, patient-centered care in a supportive, family-oriented community dedicated to high-quality elder care and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years' experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit.
• Provides safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Administers and documents medications and treatments according to each resident's medication schedule.
• Notifies the physician of changes in status and promptly implements new orders.
• Prepares work assignment sheets considering resident safety and staff abilities.
• Reports staff shortages to nursing management.
• Performs nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents.
