Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our Connecticut-based clinical team. You will support physicians, prepare patients for exams, administer medications within licensure, and help manage patient flow in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate holds CT LPN licensure, BLS certification, and is proficient with charting, IV therapy, and phlebotomy. This full-time on-site role offers collaborative practice and opportunities to contribute to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of LPN school program.
• Current licensure as LPN in Connecticut.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• IV and/or phlebotomy skills highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Introduce self to patient and escort to exam room.
• Prepare patient for exams and procedures.
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets and physicians' instructions.
• Administer medications including injections and IV therapy within licensure.
• Provide basic patient care such as dressing wounds or applying compresses.
• Enter patient information into the computer accurately.
• Assist with clerical tasks like scheduling and answering phones.
• Manage medical inventory and supply ordering.
