Summit Health in Connecticut is seeking an LPN to support outpatient care across offices. You will escort patients, prepare exam rooms, supervise medications and IV therapy within licensure, and manage charting and basic patient care tasks. A solid CT LPN license and BLS are required.

Experience with IV and phlebotomy is preferred, and you will complete a competency checklist within 3 months, working under physician supervision in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualificações

• Graduate of LPN school program.
• Current licensure as LPN in state of Connecticut.
• BLS certified upon hire.
• IV and/or phlebotomy skills highly preferred.
• Completes competency skill checklist within first 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Introduces self to patient and escorts to exam room.
• Prepares patient for exams and procedures.
• Explains treatments, medications, diets and physician instructions.
• Administers medications including injections and IV therapy within licensure.
• Provides basic patient care and treatments (wounds, catheterizations, compresses).
• Collects, labels and processes specimens.
• Cleans and prepares treatment rooms for visits.
• Assembles and uses equipment for specific medical practice.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and communicates delays.
