Job summary

Woodland Grove Health and Rehab in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide bedside care per physician orders and our nursing standards. Requirements include FL LPN license, up-to-date CPR/First Aid, strong verbal and written English, confidentiality, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Sign-on bonuses: $4,000 for full-time, $2,000 for part-time. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Up to date first aid and CPR certification.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with FL state license.
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Take TPR (temperature, pulse, & rate), blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc., as directed.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
