Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Missouri is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our long-term care team. You will provide basic nursing care, assess residents on admission and ongoing basis, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team.

You will document clearly and ensure interventions align with the care plan, including medication administration when required. Strong organizational skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work with a diverse team are essential.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited nursing program resulting in Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current LPN license in the state you will be working
• CPR and AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
• IV certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care by assisting in the assessment of the resident on admission and on an ongoing basis.
• Documents interventions accurately and timely; communicates significant changes to the IDT.
• Implements nursing interventions per the plan of care, including medication administration and treatments.
• Notifies physician timely using SBARR; participates in care planning and updates the care plan as needed.
