Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• One or more years' nursing experience within the facility's clinical area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Role model expectations related to customer service and patient safety.
• Collaborate to meet patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age and cultural needs and address complaints.
• Provide basic comfort and implement plan-of-care interventions.
• Apply interventions to progress toward wellness.
• Discuss care with patients and report status changes to RNs/physicians.
• Communicate therapeutically with patients, visitors and staff.
• Safe delivery of medications per policy and orders.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and thorough documentation.
• Perform other functions as assigned.
