Job summary

The Next Door Recovery is seeking a Full-Time Nurse (LPN/RN) in Nashville to provide nursing care for women in treatment. The role requires licensing in Tennessee, eligibility for RN or LPN, and a minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably with psychiatric and substance use disorders.

CPR is required and ongoing education is expected to maintain licensure. The nurse will administer medications, assist with admissions and discharges, and collaborate with medical leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• Valid unrestricted Tennessee LPN/RN license.
• ASN or BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a LPN/RN preferred.
• Experience working with psychiatric disorders and alcohol and substance use disorders preferred.
• CPR Certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to triage medical and psychiatric concerns.
• Maintain continuing education to maintain licensure and certifications.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for clients across all levels of care in the program.
• Administer medications at scheduled times and PRN as needed.
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges from detox and other care levels.
• Collaborate with medical leadership to develop and revise clinical policies and protocols.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team-based patient care.
• Maintain clinical documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Triage clients needing further evaluation by providers.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment in medical suites.
• Participate in required trainings and continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by medical leadership.
