Job summary

Palms Medical Group in Florida seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide multi-skilled care and work with a team of health professionals. The role supports PMG’s patient-centered approach, with emphasis on same day scheduling, bilingual staff, and community-based care across multiple PMG clinics.

The LPN will maintain EHR, participate in training, manage inventory, and provide on-call support, with a focus on delivering quality care in a busy primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Must be organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Competence in working with both pediatric and adult patients.
• May travel to other PMG clinics for coverage.
• Support training and mentoring of co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide necessary medical services to PMG patients within scope of practice.
• Maintain the Electronic Health Record with up-to-date documentation.
• Provide counseling and reinforce patient education.
• Triage nurse visits and nurse-related calls; coordinate with providers.
• Participate in QA/QI meetings and other activities as directed.
• Maintain inventory in exam rooms and clinical areas.
• Handle after-hour on-call duties and communicate with patients and providers.
• Assist in administrative tasks to improve PMG efficiency.
