Job summary

RCM Of Washington in Washington, DC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract role at our residential facilities. The LPN reports to the Supervising Registered Nurse and Clinical Director and works under RN supervision in line with the Washington, DC Nursing Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current and valid LPN license in the District of Columbia.
• Current BLS and CPR certification.
• Experience in a clinical nursing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and treatments accurately and document responses.
• Perform delegated and independent nursing tasks per policy and standards.
• Coordinate care with PCP, psychiatrist and other disciplines.
• Maintain and reconcile MAR and charts in EMR systems.
• Contribute to care planning with data collection and assessments.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and ensure licensure CEU compliance.
