Job summary

The Arc Prince George’s County is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide person-centered supports in residential settings. The role emphasizes advocacy, personal choice, and helping individuals lead fulfilling lives with nursing care and clinical leadership during shifts.

Expect both full-time and part-time schedules, with required DDA and agency trainings. Strong communication and caregiving skills are essential to promote independence and meaningful activities for the individuals

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maryland.
• Minimum 1 year of related care-giving experience.
• Ability to lift and assist individuals (two-person lift)

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing care per care plans.
• Provide direct support for personal care, hygiene, mobility and daily living tasks.
• Support community engagement and help individuals build independence and relationships.
• Maintain accurate, timely records using the iCare system.
• Model professional, confidential, and collaborative behavior with staff and clients.
