Job summary

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or current LPN licensure in Minnesota.
  • Medical Assistant credential or current Minnesota LPN license, as applicable to role.
  • AHA BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

The work takes place in a fast-paced oncology clinic where compassion, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities are essential while caring for patients facing complex health challenges. Responsibilities also include supporting medication reconciliation, preparing prior authorization documentation, maintaining accurate electronic health records, stocking exam rooms, and protecting patient confidentiality. Success in this position depends on strong communication and close collaboration with providers, nurses, and other staff to promptly address patient needs, relay concerns, and support coordinated care.
